Customer Support Engineer - Image-Guided Therapy

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service including corrective and preventative maintenance, commissioning, and installation of medical equipment and software.
• Maintain and develop robust customer relationships by providing expert technical advice and support.
• Support the sales process by providing technical expertise throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-sales support.
• Manage and resolve technical escalations, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress.
• Minimize customer downtime by determining the most cost-effective repair solutions and performing hardware/software upgrades.
• Participate in on-call support and work additional hours outside business hours as required by the criticality of the equipment.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience (e.g., Australian Defence Force specialization in Communications Electronics, RADAR, or Avionics).
• Proven experience in customer-facing service engineering roles.
• Strong IT skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Full Australian driver’s license.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Ability to pass a police check during the onboarding process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical equipment such as X-ray or CT systems.
• Possession of a Restricted Electrical Licence.
