Customer Success Tech Lead, Robotics Software & Automation

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, scoping, and production delivery of novel industrial robotic solutions for customers in the APAC region.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive the end-to-end delivery of complex robotic automation systems.
• Manage and grow the regional Customer Success engineering team, providing technical guidance and strategic direction.
• Act as a bridge between customers and internal product teams to shape the product roadmap and resolve high-severity issues.
• Drive alignment on scope, timelines, and technical feasibility across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor existing production systems and lead root-cause analysis for technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in modern software development, specifically with C++ and/or Python in a professional environment.
• Proven track record of delivering robotics solutions into production environments.
• Demonstrable experience leading complex engineering projects.
• Professional fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally to support customer engagements.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and change management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading and scaling forward-deployed engineering teams.
• Expertise in industrial robot programming (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, UR, ABB, Yaskawa) or PLC programming (e.g., Beckhoff, Siemens).
• Experience with machine vision, industrial bus systems (e.g., EtherCAT), or virtual commissioning.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and distributed systems such as Kubernetes, gRPC, or Protobuf.
• Ability to navigate cultural nuances and build relationships with technical leaders across the APAC region.
