Customer Success Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer lifecycle from onboarding to renewal
• Build relationships with decision-makers to understand business challenges and create long-term success plans
• Act as a trusted point of contact for post-sales onboarding, business reviews, and project management
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to design customer requirements and growth strategies
• Proactively identify risks and lead business reviews, training, and regular status calls
• Define project timelines and success criteria while reflecting Japanese customer feedback to the global team

Requirements

• 5+ years of Customer Success or Account Management experience in the SaaS sector within the Japanese market
• Proven experience leading customer renewals and upselling
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English (written and verbal)
• Positive, self-driven attitude with a commitment to exceeding expectations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, dynamic, or global organizational environments
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, legal tech, or SaaS
• 3+ years of experience in law, IP, or legal practice
• Experience in enterprise account management in Japan
• Conversational Korean
• Industry knowledge in luxury, gaming, automotive, cosmetics, or industrial equipment
