Responsibilities

• Own the Customer Success function end-to-end, including the operating system, team, and key metrics.
• Build and mature the CS operating system, including health scoring, QBR cadence, and escalation paths.
• Drive Gross Dollar Retention (GDR) and define playbooks for healthy, at-risk, and churning customers.
• Design the activation model to define product adoption and drive time-to-value.
• Scale the team by coaching and hiring Customer Success Managers.
• Build customer champions and drive case studies to establish a world-class post-sales motion.

Requirements

• 8+ years of total professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of 3–8 people, including hiring and performance management.
• Proven track record of building a customer-facing function from the ground up.
• Direct ownership of hard outcome numbers such as GDR, NDR, GRR, and TTV.
• Experience as a systems designer, creating dashboards, playbooks, and review loops.
• AI fluency and the ability to build automated systems.
• Credibility in conversations with Controllers or CAOs regarding implementation or accounting technology.
• Ability to act as a player-coach in a high-growth environment.
