Customer Success Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own customer relationships from onboarding to retention, acting as the single point of contact for all technical interactions.
• Partner with clients to build, launch, and optimize data pipelines using Hevo's platform.
• Provide technical consultancy and solution guidance to drive product adoption and communicate ROI.
• Develop customer onboarding processes and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Identify new use cases for Hevo products and drive the adoption of new features.
• Act as a customer advocate by coordinating with product and engineering teams to resolve high-severity technical issues.
• Build out-of-the-box solutions to overcome product limitations and ensure client goals are met.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in ETL/ELT, data transfer, or data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
• Strong understanding of data integration principles and data replication.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with API integration and working with JSON/XML data formats.
• Basic proficiency in Python or other data transformation languages.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including modeling, schemas (star, snowflake), and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, including knowledge of networking and security concepts.
