Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance as a subject matter expert to ensure successful ongoing usage and adoption of technologies
- Take ownership of post-sales technical issues and work with cross-functional teams to document resolution steps
- Guide customers through various stages of adoption with the Forward Platform
- Work directly with internal Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Travel approximately 10%
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent educational experience
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a post-sales engineer role or as a network engineer
- Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals
- Experience working with multiple network vendors (e.g., Cisco, Arista, F5, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- Ability to be onsite at customer locations in Charlotte, NC, Jersey City, NJ, or NYC
Preferred Qualifications
- CCIE, JNCIE, or VCDX certifications
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Working knowledge of API-driven workflows and scripting languages such as Python, bash, jq, or GraphQL
