About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with order inquiries and product information
- Process over-the-counter, phoned, faxed, and e-mailed orders accurately
- Receive and process customer payments including cash and debit
- Pull, inspect, and pack orders according to quality standards
- Verify order accuracy, label boxes/pallets, and rebox items as necessary
- Restock products safely and maintain clean work areas
- Report stock discrepancies and participate in annual inventory
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of customer service or office support experience preferred
- Warehouse or order-pulling experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and simple math skills
- Ability to stand, lift, and carry materials for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
