About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide sales support to walk-in customers at the Victoria branch
- Maintain, stock, and clean the counter sales area
- Answer customer questions, pick orders, and follow up on backorders
- Liaise with Inside and Outside Sales teams to ensure seamless account coverage
- Research products and provide recommendations to customers
- Drive sales growth through counter merchandising and product promotion
- Process returns and warranty claims in compliance with procedures
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or counter sales
- Outstanding verbal communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to learn and operate order processing software
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate math skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to learn material handling equipment operation
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
