Customer Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Evaluate homeowner repair issues to determine if they are warrantable items
• Perform necessary repairs including carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting
• Process written, electronic, or verbal work orders for homeowner repairs
• Schedule and manage subcontractors to ensure warranty repairs are completed to compliance standards
• Follow up with homeowners to ensure all concerns are addressed professionally and timely
• Maintain good rapport with both subcontractors and homeowners
• Process charge-back documentation and invoices

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of related experience in carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting
• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle capable of carrying supplies
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency with MS Office, email, and mobile warranty applications
• Ability to work independently and manage high-pressure situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience
• Experience with minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair work
