About the role
Responsibilities
- Process sales orders accurately and timely, managing complex customer needs via telephone, email, and electronic contact.
- Handle high-complexity orders, including the preparation of export paperwork and necessary certifications.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for projects involving Salesforce, new product introductions, and IT enhancements.
- Onboard, train, and coach new customer service agents to ensure team proficiency and positive reinforcement.
- Coordinate customer service activities related to shipping, plant schedules, and inventory levels.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as a liaison between sales personnel and clients to clarify orders and provide guidance.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of progressive customer service experience.
- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAGE, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of export documentation and Incoterms.
- Ability to resolve complex customer problems and communicate effectively across departments.
