Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner
• Resolve order and account-related issues by researching history and applying policy-based solutions
• Process orders, returns, credits, and account updates with high accuracy
• Manage order exceptions including inventory inquiries, delivery issues, and credit research
• Partner with internal teams such as Inventory, Operations, Billing, and Warehouse to drive resolutions
• Document all customer interactions and outcomes in CRM and ticketing systems
• Follow up with customers to confirm resolution and ensure high levels of satisfaction

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in customer service, client services, or a contact center environment
• Proven experience supporting customers via phone and email
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel for tracking and data tasks
• High level of organization and accountability in managing customer requests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting pharmaceutical or healthcare customers in a regulated environment
• Experience using CRM or ticketing systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or Acumax
• Ability to work with Access databases, including running queries and extracting data
• Experience resolving complex order exceptions and inventory discrepancies
