Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to members and insureds via telephone and in-person walk-ins
• Assist members with insurance product inquiries, membership renewals, and policy changes
• Sell memberships and insurance products to prospective customers and develop leads for sales agents
• Process payments for memberships and insurance premiums
• Perform administrative duties including data entry, typing letters, and preparing insurance documentation
• Resolve member problems using discretion and independent judgment, referring complex issues to management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License (issued within the last year)
• Proficiency in data entry
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service experience
• Advanced customer service skills
