About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer service to members and insureds via telephone and in-person walk-ins
- Assist members with insurance product inquiries, membership renewals, and policy changes
- Sell memberships and insurance products to prospective customers and develop leads for sales agents
- Process payments for memberships and insurance premiums
- Perform administrative duties including data entry, typing letters, and preparing insurance documentation
- Resolve member problems using discretion and independent judgment, referring complex issues to management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License (issued within the last year)
- Proficiency in data entry
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Advanced customer service skills
