About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess customer storage needs and suggest appropriate solutions, including packing and moving supplies
- Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
- Manage administrative tasks including auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits
- Assist customers with rental needs, lease agreements, and resolving account issues
- Perform facility maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and maintaining exterior curb appeal
- Handle collections by making reminder calls and managing delinquent accounts
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or sales-centered environments (retail, restaurant, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle for travel between locations
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work independently and spend up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs
