About the role
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and manage transactions to ensure efficient service levels
- Liaise with operational areas to manage specific customer and supplier requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and input data into the company ERP system (AX)
- Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Team Leader in achieving first-class customer service standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement through SOP development and 5S activities
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a Customer Service team
- GCSE level Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Proficient IT skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
- Resilience and the ability to perform well in high-pressure environments
- Highly motivated with a solution-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing (Yellow Belt or above)
- Experience with exporting regulations and documentation
- Previous experience using Lean processes
