About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain broad knowledge of products and services
- Document customer interactions and transactions
- Perform data entry for faxed, emailed, and phoned-in orders
- Coordinate between sales and production to meet customer expectations
- Communicate with customers regarding expected delivery dates and times
- Coordinate and resolve product or service problems
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a customer-facing role
- 1-2 years of experience in the construction or manufacturing industry
- Ability to read and communicate requirements in fractions
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong organizational and listening skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a manufacturing floor environment (up to 10% of role)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AS400
- Experience with SAP
