Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Create and manage order entries
• Prepare daily order schedules and distribute to warehouse staff
• Collaborate with warehouse to address shipping errors and discrepancies
• Address delivery-related issues such as late shipments, shortages, and damaged products
• Prepare paperwork for freight claims and arrange for credit or reshipment
• Process transactions including payments and credits
• Service customers via telephone, email, mail, and in-person
• Respond to inquiries regarding products, shipping, and warranty
• Support the outside sales team and assist with parts or installation inquiries
• Participate in local trade shows

Requirements

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a college, vocational, or technical program
• Previous experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or Order Desk
• Knowledge of building materials, windows, doors, or residential construction
