Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders for intercompany customers via EDI functionality, ensuring accuracy in order entry, shipping, billing, and documentation.
• Liaise between Planners, Global Customer Service Representatives, Compliance, and shipping locations to ensure timely material shipment.
• Coordinate with Freight Forwarders for export bookings and the distribution of necessary documentation.
• Assist subsidiaries with export inquiries regarding INCOTERMS, payment terms, and various transport modes (air, ocean, and intermodal).
• Provide basic supply chain support to terminals and warehouses, including SAP support and documentation assistance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Scheduling groups to strategize and implement plans for supply situations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement within order handling processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior SAP user experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional qualifications or experience in logistics, international trade, and export regulations.
• Proficiency in additional languages, such as Spanish.
