Customer Service Representative - Land Transport/Freight Forwarding

Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact for customers within the land transport sector
• Receive, process, and record customer inquiries and complaints
• Provide proactive customer service, including communicating delays or deviations
• Track shipments and maintain shipment status within the international land transport network
• Onboard new customers and manage the handover to dispatching
• Create individual reports for customers and internal monitoring

Requirements

• Completed commercial training (e.g., freight forwarding, wholesale, or comparable)
• Professional experience in customer service, ideally within freight forwarding or tour planning
• Strong communication skills and a high level of service orientation
• Structured, independent working style and ability to work well in a team
• Confident demeanor in customer contact, even in challenging situations
• Fluency in German and good proficiency in English (written and spoken)
