Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Oversee the order processing lifecycle from entry to invoice
• Maintain product, customer, and pricing master data in terminal operating systems
• Manage customer contract information and rail demurrage rebilling
• Generate invoices, process credit memos, and troubleshoot billing issues
• Provide storage, tonnage, and inventory reports to customers and management
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of rail, barges, and trucks
• Communicate with customers, railroad personnel, and truck carriers
• Address customer concerns and field after-hours calls and emails

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or High School diploma with 5+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
• Experience with TMS, Dispatch, and Inventory Management software systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accounting systems
• Proficiency in CRM and Terminal Operating Systems (TOS)
