Customer Service Representative II

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders via telephone, email, fax, or in-person counter sales
• Negotiate sale and purchase prices within established parameters to maximize gross profit
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
• Manage inventory levels by ordering items and sourcing products from branch, distribution, or supplier inventory
• Expedite backorders and determine the most cost-effective shipping methods
• Handle customer inquiries, provide quotes, and manage product returns
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced Customer Service Representatives
• Resolve complex customer issues and assist with locating specific items

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 to 5 years of related customer service or sales experience
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with computers and digital order entry systems
• Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
• Basic product knowledge and attention to detail
