About the role
Responsibilities
- Obtain client information via telephone calls and emails
- Conduct outbound calls in response to inquiries
- Interview clients and verify information
- Determine eligibility based on established guidelines
- Schedule clients for Employment and Training Program Orientations
- Refer clients to third-party workforce services providers
- Explain procedures and answer client questions
- Maintain accurate written records of transactions
- Report equipment problems and adhere to quality standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- Experience in a call center environment preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and phone skills
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods (80% of day)
