About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive and process telephone and in-person customer orders
- Prepare food products and operate kitchen equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility daily
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Handle monetary transactions and provide correct change
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, from walk-in coolers to hot oven areas
