About the role
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via email, phone, and in person to resolve queries professionally
- Represent company warranties and charging policies, communicating payments due for field technician visits
- Enter accurate data and service issue documentation into AccuQuote software
- Process payments for chargeable services and ensure accuracy of all parts entered
- Document notes from service technicians and process paperwork to completion
- Coordinate with internal departments including sales, dispatch, production control, and distribution
- Maintain and create Department Operating Procedures
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in building products
- Warranty claim experience
