About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive telephone customer requests for price quotations, purchase orders, and cancellations
- Use AS400/EView to retrieve customer information and manage stock status
- Follow up on delivery inquiries by coordinating with transportation and sales teams
- Maintain a sound working knowledge of produce commodities to provide expert consulting
- Support outside salespersons with administrative tasks and special projects
- Ensure all orders are submitted before scheduled cut-off times
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
- Ability to input orders accurately while receiving them audibly
- Proficiency with Windows Office suite and Outlook
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Proven time management and ability to meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience preferred

- Experience in retail or wholesale produce
