Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage the full order life cycle, including efficient and accurate order placement, confirmation, and management via phone, email, or EDI.
• Verify all shipping, billing, pricing, and purchase order information to ensure data integrity.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding order changes, status updates, and resolutions to inquiries.
• Build and maintain sustainable customer relationships through professional and knowledgeable interaction.
• Document and resolve customer complaints and process product returns according to company procedures.
• Collaborate with sales staff and internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and service excellence.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory expectations in all daily functions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Customer Success, or a similar discipline (or 5+ years of relevant professional experience).
• Proficiency with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite and team collaboration tools.
• Proven ability to problem-solve, work independently, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Experience in Chemical Distribution or Manufacturing industries.
