About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their financial needs.
  • Provide advice and guidance regarding banking solutions, digital tools, and self-serve options.
  • Handle banking transactions and customer inquiries with seamless execution.
  • Initiate referrals to BMO colleagues for specialized banking or credit card needs.
  • Support branch operational activities, including cash reconciliation, inventory management, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy.
  • Proactively engage customers in needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for everyday banking plans.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
  • Digital literacy with confidence using tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a business environment.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to different branch needs.
  • Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is desirable but not required.
