Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying financial needs and providing guidance on banking solutions
• Support customer requests for banking services, including handling transactions and inquiries with seamless execution
• Offer advice and guidance on digital and self-serve banking options to enhance the customer experience
• Review customer profiles and engage in needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for everyday banking and credit card products
• Manage, load, and reconcile cash transactions between treasury and various branch units
• Support branch operational activities such as inventory management, filing, and opening/closing procedures
• Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy
• Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity related to money laundering

Requirements

• Fluency in Portuguese is required
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
• High level of digital literacy, including confidence using tablets, smartphones, and online banking tools
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges
• Ability to maintain a professional presence and work collaboratively within a team environment
• Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is preferred
