About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers by identifying financial needs and providing guidance on banking solutions
  • Handle banking transactions and customer inquiries with seamless execution
  • Offer advice and guidance on digital and self-serve banking options to enhance customer experience
  • Review customer profiles to identify opportunities for everyday banking plans and credit card needs
  • Support branch operational activities including inventory management, filing, and opening/closing procedures
  • Manage, load, and reconcile cash transactions between treasury and various branch units
  • Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy
  • Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity related to money laundering

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
  • Proficiency in digital literacy, including the use of tablets, smartphones, and online banking tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a business environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule (minimum 18.75 hours per week) with flexibility for branch hours
  • Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is desirable
