Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers by identifying financial needs and providing guidance on banking solutions and digital tools
• Support customer requests for banking services, including handling transactions and inquiries
• Offer advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options to simplify the banking experience
• Review customer profiles and engage in needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for everyday banking and credit card products
• Manage, load, and reconcile cash transactions between treasury and various branch units
• Execute routine tasks and service requests within established service level agreements
• Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy
• Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity related to money laundering

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
• Digital literacy and confidence using social media, tablets, smartphones, and online applications
• Ability to help customers gain confidence in using digital banking tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for a business environment
• Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is desirable
• A resourceful, self-starting attitude with a passion for helping customers
