About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying their needs and providing financial advice.
  • Handle banking transactions and customer inquiries with seamless execution.
  • Offer guidance on digital and self-serve banking options to improve customer ease of use.
  • Engage customers in needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for everyday banking and credit card products.
  • Support branch operational activities, including cash reconciliation, inventory management, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Follow all risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy.
  • Identify and report suspicious activities related to money laundering to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a business environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to different branch needs.
  • Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience helping customers navigate digital banking applications.
  • Basic knowledge of personal and commercial banking products and services.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for customer service.
