About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for patients, evaluating and triaging calls
- Enroll new customers into Patient Services
- Record activities in the patient database and follow up to secure services
- Contact physician offices, pharmacies, and external entities to ensure patient needs are met
- Complete special projects as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications
- Experience handling high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Dependable work ethic and ability to implement feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or other tracking systems
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
- Understanding of challenges associated with various medical conditions
