Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients by answering calls and emails with professional, friendly service
• Manage appointment scheduling, including forward booking and sending reminders to keep pet care on track
• Greet clients warmly and use active listening to gather medical information and triage inquiries
• Maintain accurate client and patient records within the practice management system
• Process billing transactions, including credit card payments, digital payments, and insurance claims
• Provide clients with accurate post-visit instructions regarding medication and follow-up care
• Promote current promotions, services, and preventive care options to clients
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized reception area and supporting daily practice operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to provide compassionate, client-focused service
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
• Basic proficiency with technology, including scheduling software and online communication platforms
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently
