Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Prioritize scheduled appointments, client education, and lobby triage to ensure efficient clinic workflow.
• Operate a multiple-line telephone system, including answering, transferring, and routing messages for staff.
• Provide compassionate and professional service to clients, maintaining composure during emergency situations.
• Process payments, manage cash drawers, and handle credit transactions accurately.
• Maintain and update client and pet medical records, including scanning, faxing, and retrieving external records.
• Complete administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Professional and friendly phone etiquette.
• Availability to work weekends and holiday rotations as needed.
• Strong computer efficiency and ability to multitask.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Veterinary Electronic Medical Records (such as Avimark or Cornerstone).
• One year of experience as a Customer Service Representative.
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
