About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing professional and friendly service via phone, email, and in-person.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including forward booking and sending reminders to ensure pet care remains on track.
- Greet clients warmly and use active listening to gather medical information and triage inquiries for the medical team.
- Update client and patient records accurately within the practice management system.
- Process billing transactions, including credit card payments, digital payments, financing, and insurance claims.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and assist with daily practice operations.
- Provide clients with accurate post-visit instructions regarding medication and follow-up care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to provide compassionate, client-focused service.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including scheduling software and online communication platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently.
