About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients upon arrival and notify technical staff
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including payment processing
- Answer phone calls, route inquiries, and manage faxes and emails in a timely manner
- Act as a liaison to communicate information effectively between clients and medical staff
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, including identifying and prioritizing potential emergencies
- Maintain accurate client and patient accounts and update medical records
- Provide client education regarding preventatives, vaccinations, and routine testing
- Assist in maintaining hospital cleanliness
Requirements
- 2 years of customer service experience
- 1 year of experience working in a veterinary clinic
- Strong client communication skills
- Comfortability handling patients
