About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet clients upon arrival and check them into the system
- Manage phone calls, voicemails, and email communications
- Room clients and their pets when technicians are busy
- Prepare service estimates and collect payments at the time of service
- Handle administrative tasks including refilling medications, confirming appointments, and preparing daily reports
- Assist with in-house cleaning, deposits, and end-of-day closing procedures
- Occasionally provide hands-on assistance with pets to support the technical team
Requirements
- Experience working with the public in a professional setting
- Strong communication skills, both over the phone and in person
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing work schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a veterinary office
