Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage client interactions via phone and in-person to ensure a positive and welcoming environment
• Prioritize scheduled appointments, client education, and lobby triage to maintain efficient workflow
• Operate a multiple-line telephone system, routing calls and messages to veterinarians and staff
• Handle financial transactions, including accepting payments and maintaining an accurate cash drawer
• Maintain accurate client and pet medical records through scanning, updating, and administrative support
• Remain calm, compassionate, and professional during emergency situations or when dealing with emotional clients

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Professional and friendly phone etiquette
• Ability to work weekends and holiday rotations as needed
• Strong computer efficiency and detail-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Veterinary Electronic Medical Records (such as Avimark or Cornerstone)
• One year of customer service representative experience
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
