About the role
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of customer and agent inquiries, issues, and errors to determine the best next steps
- Answer incoming calls and provide clear guidance on existing insurance policies
- Serve as the first point of contact after a policy sale by identifying risks and gathering required information
- Document call details, process policy changes, and answer billing questions
- Support policy requests including cancellations, profile updates, billing adjustments, and refunds
- Review policy details to identify special circumstances and provide accurate coverage information
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure exceptional service and a supportive environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Advanced English and Spanish (fully bilingual)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask while navigating multiple systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous call center experience
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
