Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary communications link between customers, sales staff, plants, and other departments regarding inquiries, orders, and product information.
• Process, change, and update orders, credits, and product return authorizations.
• Manage a high volume of daily email communications (50-150 emails) and handle phone inquiries.
• Run customer order reports to proactively ensure orders are shipped.
• Manage assigned customer accounts from order placement through shipment, ensuring accuracy in lead times and pricing.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with customers and internal teams including Sales, Engineering, and Plant personnel.
• Issue credit, debit, and return material authorizations promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing, sales, or distribution environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong math and typing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused tone.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree.
