About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive and resolve customer inquiries via phone and email regarding invoicing, labeling, and inspections.
- Coordinate customer relationships and facilitate smooth communication between clients and internal UL departments.
- Collect product information, identify relevant industries, and communicate project completion timelines.
- Manage customer data and segment information using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Provide support for non-technical requests, including billing inquiries and general service requests.
- Assemble required reports and documentation for clients and monitor customer satisfaction through reviews.
- Participate in team initiatives to continuously improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of professional work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a contact center environment.
- Proven experience interfacing with global customers.
- Fluent English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high-volume customer service environment.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, Japanese, or Chinese.
