About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations in the customer service department across multiple sites (Falconer, NY and Muskegon, MI)
  • Develop and implement a customer service strategy aligned with aerospace sector needs to deliver superior customer experience
  • Foster a culture of openness, empowerment, ownership, and accountability within the team
  • Handle escalations, address complaints, and analyze root causes to propose preventive actions
  • Review and monitor orderbooks, purchase order processes, and monthly shipments to ensure customer deliveries are met
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and ease of doing business
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and direct input to support resource development and team alignment
  • Support Accounts Receivable resolution and payment processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role with a proven track record of building and motivating teams
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business or a related field of study
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers
  • Ability to travel as needed
