About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and build strong client relationships
- Act as a liaison between customers and other departments to resolve inquiries
- Manage customer purchase orders, ensuring compliance with contract terms
- Supervise and coach the customer service team daily
- Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing discrepancies
- Coordinate shipments, export documentation, and customs formalities
- Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and meat inspection services
- Manage RFPs with carriers and seek cost-reduction opportunities
- Oversee pickups and deliveries to ensure appointment compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and SQF program requirements
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in English and French (written and oral)
- Experience in the food industry is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
