Customer Service Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as second-in-command to oversee the customer service team and support the Customer Service Manager.
• Manage the full sales order lifecycle, including entry, maintenance, and processing from receipt through shipment.
• Verify all shipping, billing, pricing, and purchase order information to ensure accuracy.
• Resolve customer issues regarding samples, product inquiries, A/R inquiries, and order follow-ups.
• Coordinate with sales, production, and warehouse personnel to resolve problems and provide order status updates.
• Audit customer purchase orders and research credit issues, short pays, or returned material issues.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the purchasing department of potential shortages.
• Document and resolve customer complaints while maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
