About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare diagnostic (DX) equipment.
  • Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate training to operators to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Manage financial performance within the assigned territory, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
  • Maintain company assets such as a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
  • Establish and maintain professional business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Perform necessary administrative duties accurately using various network applications and tools.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; technical Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to drive independently.
  • Physical ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders/stepstools, bend, twist, squat, and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and various network applications.
