About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare diagnostic (DX) equipment.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate training to operators to ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage financial performance within the assigned territory, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Maintain company assets such as a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establish and maintain professional business relationships with customers and peers.
- Perform necessary administrative duties accurately using various network applications and tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; technical Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
- Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to drive independently.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders/stepstools, bend, twist, squat, and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in MS Office and various network applications.
