About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare diagnostic equipment.
  • Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate training to operators to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Manage financial performance within the assigned territory, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
  • Maintain professional business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Proficiency with service test equipment and various network applications (MS Office, Concur, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, twisting, and standing.
