About the role
Responsibilities
- Address and resolve customer issues promptly
- Generate daily load sheets and requirement listings
- Monitor all customer portals to ensure accurate information flow
- Ensure adequate supply of containers through weekly inventories
- Monitor dock activities and the performance of shippers and receivers
- Relay customer release information to manufacturing accurately and on a timely basis
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and instructions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of related customer service experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work effectively within a team with a strong customer-focused orientation
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
