Customer Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Create a positive first impression by welcoming patients as a greeter, receptionist, or cashier
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes for all appointment types
• Handle reminder calls, answer patient questions, and manage complaints to ensure a high-quality experience
• Support patients and families in a team-based care environment to promote self-management and behavior change
• Utilize electronic health record-keeping systems and office equipment including telephones, faxes, and copiers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications (Chrome, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Ability to work under stress and maintain professionalism in a lively medical setting
• Proficiency in elementary math and keyboarding skills

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of front desk or customer service experience in a medical setting
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency
• One year of clerical office experience
• Familiarity with medical or dental terminology
