About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive and monitor inbound customer orders
- Accurately key customer orders into Sage, ensuring all details match the customer's PO
- Maintain detailed and organized records of customer orders
- Initiate and coordinate requests for new part number setups and pricing requests
- Handle order updates including quantity, date, and shipping changes
- Answer inbound calls and provide high-level service to customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in typing with high speed and accuracy
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Sage X3, SAP, SAP4Hana, or EDI
