Customer Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide cashier services using cash registers, POS systems, and credit card terminals
• Welcome and engage with customers to respond to inquiries and ensure a positive shopping experience
• Deliver excellent service to customers, co-workers, and volunteers both in-person and over the phone
• Maintain store appearance by straightening and restocking racks and shelves throughout the shift
• Manage fitting room returns and ensure items are returned to the proper departments
• Enroll customers in the loyalty program and promote donation round-up initiatives
• Assist in other areas of the thrift shoppe or at different locations as necessary
• Work occasional non-operating hours, holidays, and promotional events as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation
• Open and flexible availability to meet business needs, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of cashier and customer service experience
• Previous experience working in a thrift or consignment shop environment
