Customer Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter with product inquiries, recommendations, and order processing
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email professionally
• Enter, pick, and stage customer orders accurately
• Load and unload trucks and operate forklift or material handling equipment
• Support receiving, organizing, and putting away incoming materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe counter and warehouse environment
• Process returns and warranty claims according to company procedures
• Assist with inventory counts and general Profit Centre operations

Requirements

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience or 1 year of warehouse experience
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift
• Intermediate math skills
• High level of attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing and building products
• Experience working for a plumbing wholesaler
• Experience using M3 or similar software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
